Qualifications

• Two+ years in healthcare revenue cycle or medical billing.
• Experience reviewing EOBs, ERAs, and claim adjudication.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to investigate account issues independently and empathetically.

Responsibilities

• Patient Billing Escalations: Manage escalated inquiries via phone, email, tickets, and referrals.
• Account Review and Balance Validation: Verify balances against claims adjudication and postings.
• Insurance Follow-Up and Claim Resolution: Refile corrected claims and handle denials.
• Verification of Benefits: Confirm eligibility, benefits, copays, and requirements with payers.
• Patient Financial Support: Educate patients on financial responsibility and payment options.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain thorough notes and adhere to HIPAA and policies.
