Insight Chicago Inc. is seeking a Patient Financial Services Representative to support hospital revenue cycle operations by handling patient billing, cashiering, and financial counseling. You will help ensure timely reimbursement while delivering patient-centered service.

You will work with patients, departments, and payers to verify Medicaid eligibility, assist with enrollment and financial assistance, and set up payment plans in line with hospital policies.

Formación

• 1–3 years in hospital patient financial services or revenue cycle.
• Familiar with Medicaid eligibility and hospital-based financial assistance.
• Knowledge of hospital billing systems and EHR.

Responsabilidades

• Post payments, perform account reconciliations, and follow up on unpaid claims.
• Verify Medicaid eligibility and assist with enrollment and eligibility redeterminations.
• Explain billing processes and help patients with charity care and payment plans.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve routine issues with empathy.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation in billing systems.
• Coordinate with registration, insurance companies, and discharge planning.
