This full-time role focuses on assisting patients with billing questions, processing payments, and maintaining accurate account information in a busy healthcare environment.

You will answer multi-line calls, review balances, resolve disputes, and navigate the EHR system while protecting patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Medical office or healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming multi-line phone calls professionally and courteously.
• Assist patients with billing questions and payment inquiries.
• Process payments securely over the phone.
• Update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Review patient account balances and explain charges.
• Resolve billing concerns and account disputes with empathy and professionalism.
• Work Accounts Receivable to help resolve outstanding balances.
• Navigate the electronic health record (EHR) system accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain patient confidentiality while delivering exceptional customer service.
