Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ experience in a medical business office setting with insurance processing and balancing responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate with patients and insurance companies professionally.

Responsibilities

• Audit patient accounts for accuracy and timely payment.
• Review aging reports and correct discrepancies.
• Contact patients about delinquent accounts and arrange payment plans.
• Follow up on insurance billing to ensure timely payments and address issues with payors.
• Process refunds and adjustments with proper documentation.
