Qualifications

• Healthcare billing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance basics, and terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with billing inquiries and payments in a courteous manner.
• Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
• Review and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance coverage and address related account issues.
• Collaborate with insurers on claim status and denials.
• Handle correspondence and document patient financial assistance.
• Maintain billing system documentation and perform basic reconciliations.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, email, or in person.
