Qualifications

• 2-3 years medical billing experience required.
• Ability to work independently, confidentially and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate benefits, authorization of scheduled procedures and management of payment information.
• Notify patients of their benefits, authorization status, and amounts due at the date of service.
• Keep accurate notes on accounts to ensure staff understand patient circumstances.
• Ensure estimate letters are prepared and signed by patient/guardian.
• Obtain authorizations for add-on cases prior to case start time.
