Job summary

Actalent seeks a Referral Specialist to support physician offices by processing referrals and coordinating with insurance companies. You will communicate with internal and external providers to ensure timely and accurate requests and maintain compliant records.

The role requires EPIC experience, familiarity with Work Queues, and at least one year in medical office insurance authorizations. This is a fully onsite contract based in Liberty Lake, WA, with benefits and a comprehensive compensation

• Experience working in Work Queues and medical office workflows.
• At least 1 year in a medical office coordinating insurance authorizations.

Referral Specialist initiates a variety of external and internal referral processing and skilled clerical duties in support of the physician offices. Communicate with internal and external medical offices and insurance companies to ensure provider referral requests are processed timely and accurately. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of the Health System. The job duties listed are essential functions of the position. However, other duties may be assigned, and may also be considered essential functions of the position. The caregiver must be sufficiently fluent in the English language to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. The degree of fluency required will vary depending upon the nature of the position. Caregivers are expected to honor the Mission, Values, Vision and Promise and adhere to the Code of Conduct, policies and standards of their organization.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
