Job summary

Working in a busy call center environment, you will verify member details, update demographics, and help members navigate eligibility and self-referral processes.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience in a service related industry.
• Must obtain passing score on Customer Care Simulation assessment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Proofreading Assessment required for non KP employees.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments.
• Determine appointment type and availability, schedule accordingly.
• Transfer calls to RNs when urgent or emergent.
• Compose messages for physicians, nurses or staff as requested.
• Provide information using online databases to members and staff.
• Update member demographics and assist with self-referral processing.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality and efficiency.
