Job summary

Orthopedic Centers of Colorado is seeking a Patient Advocate to ensure clinic operations comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and fraud-compliance standards. The role involves registering patients, handling phone inquiries, verifying information and guiding patients through the admission process.

The position requires at least two years in a healthcare setting, strong knowledge of medical office procedures, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Patient Advocate is responsible for ensuring the clinic (physical/ occupational therapy clinic) meets the required standards to be successful. This includes HIPAA rules, OSHA rules, Compliance rules and regulations against fraud and abuse. Assignments are made in terms of broad goals and objectives and the incumbent must apply considerable decision making and independent judgement in daily activities.
