The position requires at least two years in a healthcare setting, strong knowledge of medical office procedures, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Patient Advocate is responsible for ensuring the clinic (physical/ occupational therapy clinic) meets the required standards to be successful. This includes HIPAA rules, OSHA rules, Compliance rules and regulations against fraud and abuse. Assignments are made in terms of broad goals and objectives and the incumbent must apply considerable decision making and independent judgement in daily activities.

  • Recognize, greet and register patients in a polite, prompt and helpful manner
