Job summary

The OCC - Advanced Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists in Golden, CO seeks a Patient Advocate to ensure clinic standards, HIPAA/OSHA compliance, and fraud-prevention measures. The role requires independent judgment in daily activities and execution of broad goals.

Responsibilities include eligibility checks, correcting chart errors, Phreesia validations, pre-registration, greeting and registering patients, collecting insurance and demographics, and handling calls to support ProviderFlow and

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
  • Strong grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  • Ability to operate business office machines.
  • Professional telephone demeanor.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work well with patients, staff and public.
