Qualifications

• 6 months medical office, hospital registration/business/banking/medical insurance office/customer service experience.
• Required 1 year experience at a medical office or other hospital/ nursing home facility.

Responsibilities

• Admits clients to the hospital, including collecting information and deposits, forms, signatures, scanning IDs, updating ADT systems.
• Ensures patients are registered efficiently and prioritized during high volume.
• Greets patients and public, providing information while supporting HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
• Addresses patient questions and concerns to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Processes pre-registered accounts and completes registration with demographic, insurance, financial and medical information.
• Obtains signatures on medical, financial and compliance documents.
• Prepares identification bands to ensure accurate patient identification.
• Scans documents into EMR and financial records.
