• 1 year experience at a medical office or other hospital/ nursing home facility.

Responsibilities

• Admit clients to the hospital, collecting information and deposits, scanning IDs, and updating ADT systems.
• Ensure patients are registered accurately and prioritize during high volume.
• Obtain signatures on medical, financial and compliance documents and prepare related paperwork.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations as required.
• Collect payments for balances due and coordinate with the care team to maximize reimbursement.
