Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Strong computer and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and admit patients upon arrival.
• Complete admitting information in the computer.
• Locate and assign beds and coordinate transfers.
• Coordinate and facilitate intra- and interdepartmental communication.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and arrange patient transportation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and department records.
• Distribute discharge documents and ensure proper communication of discharge information.
