Qualifications

• 0-2 years of admissions, customer service and/or public relations experience required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients efficiently and accurately, obtaining signatures on consent and authorization forms.
• Verify insurance coverage and identify plan codes for accurate billing.
• Explain ABNs and other legal/financial documents to patients and families as required.
• Counsel self-pay patients on costs, payment options and resources; document interactions.
• Secure and log patient valuables; ensure proper tracking and safekeeping.
