Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Document all inquiries concerning patient accounts from patients and third-party payers.
• Serve as first line of support for questions about accounts or claims.
• Identify root causes and work toward resolution.
• Document and communicate resolutions in the Patient Accounting System.
• Escalate complex accounts to department management as needed.
• Provide status updates to responsible parties and guarantors within the process timeline.
• Collaborate with facility and other departments to resolve inquiries from patients or insurers.
