Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Contact Center Support for the Atlantic Region Central Billing Office.

This role handles first-line inquiries from patients and insurers about accounts and claims, documenting activities in the Patient Accounting System and escalating complex issues as needed. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, 1–3 years in customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and resolve first line inquiries about patient accounts from patients or insurers.
• Act as first line of support to questions about accounts or claims.
• Document inquiries in the Patient Accounting System and communicate resolutions.
• Escalate problematic accounts to departmental management for resolution.
• Respond to patient inquiries within 24 hours with research updates.
• Coordinate with facility and CBO teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain knowledge of the call routing and patient accounting systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
