University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) seeks a Patient Accounts Manager to direct government and non-government billing, collections, cash processing, and AR functions. You will oversee vendor and managed care contract administration and drive efficient, compliant daily operations to minimize costs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in patient accounting management, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and CPAM/CFHP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Five years patient accounting management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Healthcare required.
• Certification as CPAM or CFHP preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee government and non-government billing, collections, cash processing and accounts receivable functions.
• Manage daily operations to ensure efficient and effective collections and timely bill production.
• Provide Quality Improvement monitoring to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
• Identify process problems and implement solutions.
