• Full-time position requiring 1 mid/evening shift per week, on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 11 am to 9 pm CST

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Patient Account Collections Specialist, you will:

• Make outbound calls, follow up, and resolve patient receivables while providing excellent customer service. This is a work-from-home role, requiring residence within an HCA hospital market area.

Duties include:

• Refer calls/accounts to appropriate parties based on inquiries. Spend about 90% of your day on the phone.
• Identify problem accounts and escalate as needed.
• Update patient records with actions taken.
• Work with patients and guarantors to secure payment on outstanding balances.
• Maintain minimum production standards and achieve quality review scores.
• Work within attendance guidelines and provide excellent customer service.
• Collaborate professionally with team members and management.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Call Center experience preferred
• At least one year of related experience, preferably in healthcare collections
• High-speed internet (25 MB download, 15 MB upload); Wi-Fi not permitted
• Ability to work without interruption during shift
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
