Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Patient Account Collections Specialist, you will conduct outbound calls for account follow-up and resolution of patient receivables, providing excellent customer service. This is a work-from-home role; candidates must live within an HCA hospital market area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Refer calls/accounts to appropriate parties based on inquiries; spend about 90% of your day on the phone.
• Identify problem accounts and escalate as needed.
• Update patient account records with actions taken.
• Work with patients and guarantors to secure payment of outstanding balances.
• Maintain minimum production standards and achieve quality review scores.
• Meet collection volume targets and adhere to attendance guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate professionally with team members and management.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Call center experience preferred.
• At least one year of related experience, preferably in healthcare collections.
• High-speed internet (25 MB download, 15 MB upload); Wi-Fi not permitted.
• Ability to work uninterrupted during shifts (excluding breaks).
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
