• Full-time position requiring one mid/evening shift per week, on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, 11am-9pm CST

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Patient Account Collections Specialist, you will handle outbound calls, follow-up, and resolution of patient receivables while providing excellent customer service. This is a work-from-home role; you must live within an HCA hospital market area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Refer calls/accounts to appropriate parties based on inquiries; spend 90% of your day on the phone
• Identify problem accounts and escalate as needed
• Update patient account records with actions taken
• Work with patients and guarantors to secure payment on outstanding balances
• Maintain minimum production standards
• Achieve quality review scores and collection volume targets
• Work within attendance guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate professionally with team members and management

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Call center experience preferred
• At least one year of related healthcare or collections experience preferred
• High-speed internet (25 MB download, 15 MB upload); Wi-Fi not permitted
• Ability to work uninterrupted during shift
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
