Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent; 2 years of applicable experience per year of education.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• EPIC credential (Cadence, Radiant or Referral Management) within 1 year of hire.
• Process Improvement Methodology certification, Certified Revenue Cycle Rep, and Certified Patient Access Rep preferred.
• Basic MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel; 35 wpm; knowledge of an Electronic Health Record system.
• Intermediate MS Office and Epic skills preferred.
• 2 years of progressively responsible Patient Access, Scheduling, or Call Center experience.
• 5 years of Patient Access, Scheduling, or Call Center experience; 3 years of management; adult education experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination and delivery of training to the centralized scheduling center and patient access teams.
• Serve as a consultant and resource for education, role development, onboarding of new hires, and competency management.
• Communicate with leadership to identify training needs and map development plans for teams and individuals; maintain a training knowledge base.
