Job summary

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in a healthcare setting required.
• High school diploma required; higher degrees may substitute for years of experience.
• Strong communication and data-entry skills; knowledge of medical terminology and privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for clinic by reviewing today’s and tomorrow’s patient lists and completing preparation activities.
• Manage clinic work queues and identify operational improvements; communicate opportunities to management.
• Obtain imprest cash bag and support patient check-in/check-out, referrals, and order management.
• Demonstrate Duke values and contribute to a positive patient experience and work environment.
