Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, in partnership with ProHealth Care, seeks a Patient Access Team Lead in Waukesha, WI. The role oversees patient access operations, supports Neuroscience and Behavioral Health, and provides frontline leadership and coaching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience is required.
• 2+ years of scheduling experience in a medical setting.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 6:30 AM and 6:15 PM CST, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates high performance in Patient Access; manages lead and staff duties.
• Support Neuroscience and Behavioral Health departments.
• Provide first-level support to the Patient Access team.
• Develop and track department metrics; provide reports on access activities.
• Monitor daily operational functions; maintain excellent customer service.
• Guide and educate staff to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Act as a resource for staff and coordinate with department leadership.
• Assist with department orientation and training of staff.
