UnitedHealth Group is seeking a proactive Patient Access professional to support the ProHealth Care partnership. You will handle front-line access duties, assist with metrics, and coach staff while ensuring a high standard of customer service at the Oconomowoc location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience.
• 2+ years of scheduling experience in a medical setting.
• Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 6:30 AM - 8:00 PM CST Monday-Friday.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a high level of performance in the Patient Access Center role and balances duties of lead and employee roles.
• Provide first level support to the Patient Access team.
• Develop and track department metrics and provide reports on care access activities.
• Monitor daily operational functions of Access departments and maintain excellent customer service.
• Provide instruction and guidance to Access team members to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Serve as a resource for staff when leadership is unavailable.
