Responsibilities

• Supports supervisor with recruitment, staffing, and staff scheduling.
• Prioritizes and coordinates smooth patient flow to service delivery areas.
• Develops policies and procedures for patient information, office management, registration, scheduling, and financial counseling.
• Ensures timely scheduling, pre-registration, registration, and authorization for services.
• Assists in collecting copays, deductibles, and coinsurances prior to services.
• Supports claims management and AR collections to meet financial goals.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and documentation standards in the EHR.
• Maintains professional relationships with community providers and staff.
• Participates in daily huddles and provides updates.
• Completes daily POS cash reports and monthly productivity/quality reviews.
• Performs duties listed in job descriptions for patient access staff.
• Attends on-site/off-site community events as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
