Job summary

Providence Swedish Mill Creek is seeking a seasoned supervisor to oversee daily department operations, delegate tasks, and implement staffing plans, policies, procedures, and quality improvement activities.

You will ensure timely, accurate, and compliant registration and financial counseling for patients, uphold customer service standards, and collaborate with the manager to resolve issues affecting the revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in healthcare related registration, billing, and/or financial counseling.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Previous supervisory experience in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate all aspects of daily departmental operations.
• Develop and implement an operational plan including staffing resources, policies and procedures, and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure timely, accurate and compliant registration and financial counseling of all patients.
• Ensure staff adherence to Providence Swedish customer service standards and competencies.
• Collaborate with department Manager to resolve problems impacting the patient access revenue cycle.
• Perform all duties of Financial Counselor, Registration Representative and Receptionist Clerk.
