The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Supervisor, Patient Access to oversee the front desk operations at the assigned clinic. You will supervise registration personnel, anticipate patient volume, and monitor patient flow and staff productivity to meet department goals and deliver excellent patient service.

Responsibilities include orienting and evaluating staff, ensuring policy adherence, planning daily schedules, verifying patient information, and addressing issues promptly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or relevant experience; certification or license may be considered.
• Experience in supervising registration/staff required; ability to manage performance and drive results.
• Strong communication and training skills; proficient with common office software.

Responsabilités

• Orient, train, evaluate, and monitor registration staff.
• Organize scheduling to accommodate daily volumes and monitor patient flow.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information; edit as needed; explain consent and HIPAA to patients.
• Lead performance management to address issues and improve efficiency.
• Identify process improvements and ensure internal controls and policy compliance.
