Terry Reilly Health Services in Nampa, Idaho is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to greet, direct, and assist patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy throughout their visit. You will schedule and register patients, collect required data, determine eligibility, and explain payment policies to ensure accurate and efficient service.

This role also manages the waiting area, keeps patients informed about wait times, and ensures a clean, comfortable environment while guiding them

Qualifications

Ability to provide strong customer service to a complex patient population.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to navigate multiple computer software programs including EHR, Microsoft Office, scanner, calculator, and multi-line telephone.

Responsibilities

Greet, direct, and assist patients and visitors in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
Schedule and register patients, including the accurate collection of required data.
Determine eligibility for services and counsel patients regarding payment policies.
Monitor and collect monies due and assist with billing processes as needed.
Manage waiting room atmosphere, keep patients informed about wait times, and ensure a clean waiting area.
