Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Patient Access Representative to register patients, manage records, and respond to public needs. The role includes handling PHI in accordance with HIPAA and assisting clinical staff.

The candidate should have a high school diploma and healthcare experience is preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected. Excellent communication and a welcoming demeanor are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor waiting area and address patient/visitor concerns.
• Notify appropriate personnel when issues require attention and provide interim solutions.
• Obtain accurate patient information for registration (name, address, phone, insurance).
• Enter essential information into the computer system.
• Photocopy and attach identification/insurance cards to charts; ensure consent is signed.
