The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a PT Patient Registration Representative for the Bell Hospital in Kansas City, KS. The role focuses on registering inpatients and outpatients with accurate demographics and insurance data while delivering excellent patient service.

Shifts are Sat/Sun 7:00am–7:30pm, and the role requires high school graduation with preferred healthcare registration experience. This position supports a fast-paced hospital environment and patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Preferred: 1+ year of clerical/registration/customer service experience in healthcare.
• Part-time position with Saturday/Sunday 7:00am–7:30pm shifts.

Responsabilités

• Register inpatients and outpatients; verify demographics and insurance information and enter data in the system.
• Collect co-payments or deposits as appropriate for services rendered.
• Balance cash drawer at end of day as part of closing responsibilities.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional image with patients and families.
• Coordinate with department staff to ensure smooth admission and registration processes.
