Job summary

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking a Patient Access professional to coordinate patient flow inside one or more hospital departments or physician practices. You will ensure timely processing while maintaining knowledge of insurance requirements, pricing and billing practices across the revenue cycle.

Excellence in service and communication is essential. Minimum experience is less than 1 year, with training provided; bilingual English and Spanish/Creole is preferred to serve diverse patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Complete and pass the Patient Access training.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, AHCA, EMTALA, and Medicare guidelines.
• Bilingual English, Spanish/Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and timely processing.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance requirements and Baptist Health South Florida pricing and revenue cycle operations.
