Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a Part-time Patient Access Representative at CHA Everett Hospital to ensure accurate patient registration, verify insurance information, and support seamless admissions for inpatients, outpatients, and emergencies.

The role requires strong customer service, familiarity with medical terminology, and knowledge of Epic systems. Two years of healthcare registration experience and proficiency with Office suites are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
• Two years of patient access experience in healthcare settings handling registration, pre-registration, insurance verification, copayment determination and related services preferred.
• Two years of customer service experience required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, third party plans, and medical billing is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Google Office and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Epic systems including Grand Central, Prelude and EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register hospital patients accurately and in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on insurance plan requirements and communicate changes to registration staff.
• Train new employees as needed to maintain high service standards.
• Contribute to high quality service and accuracy during pre- and post-visit processes.
