Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and manage pre-certification and benefit verification.
• Explain hospital policies and financial responsibilities; obtain signatures.
• Enter demographic and financial data in EPIC accurately and timely.
• Verify pre-certification/authorization per insurer policies.
• Determine estimated patient financial responsibility using verified benefits.
• Communicate with physicians, nursing, clinical and non-clinical staff, and Patient Access.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
