Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Patient Access representative to ensure accurate and efficient patient registration for hospital services.

The role involves collecting and processing registration and billing data across Admissions, Outpatient, Radiology and Emergency Department, verifying insurance, and guiding patients and families toward a positive first impression of the hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 1 year experience in Patient Access Required.
• General Experience with and Knowledge of insurance requirements, insurance verification, and 3rd party billing Required

Responsibilities

• Gathers and processes all registration, billing and related information from patients.
• Verifies patient insurance coverage and benefits.
• Reviews registration flow with patients and families; promotes a positive patient encounter.
