Job summary

TriHealth Bethesda Butler Hospital is seeking an Access Associate to perform hospital-based registration and deliver exceptional patient service in a fast-paced setting.

You'll collect demographics, verify insurance, explain benefits, and coordinate with care teams while upholding HIPAA and privacy standards. Training provided, with day shifts and opportunities for growth within TriHealth's network.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Experience in fast paced customer driven environment.
• Ability to operate multiple computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Typing speed of 35 wpm; medical terminology within first year if not already taken.
• 1–2 years experience in Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Adapt to dynamic workflow and target appropriate registrations per hour.
• Meet departmental targets for accuracy and avoid critical errors.
• Follow scripting, anticipate customer needs, and maintain positive interactions.
• Follow policies for data collection, patient safety and point of service collections.
