Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
0-11 months of direct Patient Access or healthcare registration experience.
Must obtain Certified Patient Access Specialist (CPAS) certification within 8 months of hire.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors courteously and professionally.
Conduct face-to-face interviews to obtain patient demographic and financial information.
Explain hospital policies and procedures to patients and families.
Schedule appointments according to patient and provider preferences.
