Inova Primary Leesburg is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Specialist for a full-time role, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm in Leesburg, VA. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Confirm authorizations, validate and index documents.
• Prepare schedules, track records, and navigate multiple systems.
• Coordinate documentation and follow up on case-related tasks.
• Assess coverage and initiate financial assistance.
• Apply payer-specific rules, resolve issues, and identify contract limitations.
• Resolve moderate patient concerns and track follow-ups with patients.
• Educate patients on kiosks and report usage trends.
• Coordinate with departments, tailor messaging, and manage referrals.
• Schedule specialty visits and coordinate preparation.
• Coordinate special-needs transport.
• Resolve minor HIM chart issues and assist ROI.

Job Description

Inova Primary Leesburg is looking for a dedicated Patient Access Specialist to join the team. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, office hours 8:00am-5:00pm. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will adhere to Inova Health System's "Service Excellence" standards while admitting/scheduling patients, conducting insurance verifications and providing financial counseling.
