Job summary

Neighborhood Healthcare is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative to provide front office support, manage patient access, and coordinate scheduling with care teams. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling calls, registrations, and appointment logistics in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience; healthcare experience and EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records and multi-line phone systems preferred.
• Bilingual preferred depending on site needs.

Responsibilities

• Patient Experience and Access: Welcome patients, answer calls, schedule and confirm appointments in the EMR, provide visit prep instructions.
• Provider and Team Support: Coordinate scheduling with providers, medical assistants, and nursing staff; ensure up-to-date appointment information.
• Front Office and Administrative Support: Verify demographics and insurance, prepare records, track appointments, and record payments when applicable.
