Responsibilities

• Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted at the hospital.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and collect patient information.
• Review eligibility in the insurance verification system and select plan codes.
• Explain and obtain necessary consent and patient education documents.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and meet service level goals.
