Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is hiring for an on-site Patient Access Specialist at Firelands - Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, OH. Qualifications

1+ years of customer service experience
Ability to walk between rooms and push a 10-pound mobile computer station
Must be inquisitive and open to innovation including AI to improve processes

Responsibilities

Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity checks
Operate the telephone switchboard for calls
Provide clear patient instructions and collect insurance information
Process physician orders and use overlay tools to ensure POS accuracy
Adhere to policies and deliver excellent customer service with compassion
Conduct audits and prepare statistical data for leadership
