Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Previous clerical work, medical terminology, medical office settings, registration, or billing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with word processing and computer applications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registering and registering patients and scheduling procedures/tests.
• Collecting accurate demographic and billing information promptly.
• Interviewing incoming patients or associates and entering details into software systems.
• Facilitating communication between departments as a liaison within Patient Access Services.
