Casper Medical Imaging & Outpatient Radiology is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our Clerical team, delivering friendly front-desk service and accurate data entry for patient visits. You will confirm demographics, insurance details, collect copays, and schedule appointments while upholding HIPAA standards and patient confidentiality in a busy medical office setting.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service or reception experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Ability to use a multi-line phone system and standard office software.

• Confirm patients' demographics and insurance information for accurate visits.
• Safeguard security and confidentiality of passwords and restricted areas.
• Comply with HIPAA & CMS requirements per training.
• Explain financial requirements and collect copays when applicable.
• Reschedule patients and coordinate walk-in exams as needed.
• Keep front/back desk and waiting areas organized and clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
