Responsibilities

• Collect and verify demographic and financial data; enter into the database.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits; use online eligibility or calls to ensure up-to-date information.
• Obtain signatures and required forms; maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Receive payments and issue receipts; work toward collection goals and maintain cash logs.
• Prepare and distribute reports and patient identification items; ensure timely communication.
