Newberry County Memorial Hospital is seeking a Full Time Night Shift Patient Access Representative for the Emergency Department. The role involves collecting and verifying demographic and financial data, confirming insurance coverage, and obtaining necessary signatures to ensure complete and accurate records.

You will input information into the database, maintain HIPAA confidentiality, process payments, issue receipts, and support daily reporting while working toward billing goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in Admissions, Billing, Collections, Insurance, or Customer Service preferred.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Database management.

Responsabilités

• Collect and verify demographic and financial data.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits; obtain signatures on forms.
• Input data into the system and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Receive payments and issue receipts; work toward collection goals.
