UC San Diego Health's Revenue Cycle department seeks a Patient Access Representative/HAIII to pre-register, pre-admit, and admit patients by phone or in person across Hillcrest, La Jolla, and East Campus locations.

You will collect demographics, interpret insurance benefits, obtain prior authorizations, provide patient estimates, assist with Medi-Cal/ CCS, and coordinate with hospital staff to ensure timely reimbursement.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) years of registration or medical front office experience.
• Thorough knowledge of third-party payers.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Highly proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong communication skills, with clear verbal and written expression.
• Professionalism, credibility, commitment to high quality standards and accountability.
• Ability to interact effectively with patients, visitors and staff.

Responsabilités

• Assist with Medi-Cal, CCS and Medicare requirements; ensure correct reimbursement.
