Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Patient Access Representative II for the Imaging Contact Center at Baptist Southbank Plaza. This full-time day position supports scheduling, registration, and a seamless patient journey from first contact to visit completion.

Responsibilities include accurate registration across systems, maintaining patient privacy, and ensuring compliance with EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO guidelines while delivering exceptional service in person and by phone.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Healthcare experience required.
• 1–2 years insurance experience required.
• Experience in hospital registration or patient access preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and efficiently with complete demographic, insurance and registration information.
• Utilize multiple systems and interfaces to support patient access functions and maintain accurate patient information.
• Cross-train and work across multiple Patient Access areas to support departmental needs.
• Provide service excellence to patients and visitors through face-to-face and telephonic interactions.
• Maintain knowledge of and compliance with EMTALA, AHCA, JCAHO, and HIPAA requirements.
