Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred
• Some college coursework is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, register at date of service, explain forms, scan PHI, and assist with scheduling as needed.
• Educate patients about financial liabilities and perform cash reconciliation per policies.
• Verify insurance, benefits, coverage, and obtain necessary authorizations and inpatient notifications.
