Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in patient access or a call center is preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, EMTALA, AHCA and JCAHO compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a large volume of inbound and outbound calls promptly.
• Manage Central Scheduling Voicemail.
• Schedule patient appointments with cardiologists.
• Follow call scripts for various scenarios to ensure consistency.
• Identify customer needs and provide solutions.
• Manage OnBase queue and document indexing in EPIC.
• Perform data entry tasks as required.
• Route calls to appropriate departments.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
