Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher is required.
• Insurance experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Registering patients accurately and efficiently.
• Cross-train to work in multiple patient access areas.
• Maintain service excellence for face-to-face and telephonic encounters.
• Contribute to PAS goals as defined annually.
• Understand EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO requirements.
• Maintain professional relationships with clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Explain and complete patient consent documentation.
• Protect patient privacy per HIPAA guidelines.
