Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs patients and visitors in person and over the phone using AIDET principles.
• Registers patients and verifies demographics and insurance information for accurate billing.
• Secures consent for registration forms (general consent, MSPQ, privacy practices, patient rights).
• Collects copays, deductibles, and coinsurance per SOP; reconciles cash drawer.
• Obtains precertification for applicable services and uses insurance tools to verify information.
• Coordinates appointments and referrals to minimize no-shows and maximize reimbursement.
• Maintains Epic work queue and productivity with minimal errors.
